革
Fire inside the lake: incompatible, and therefore must change. But only when the day is ripe and people believe in it. Half a revolution is worse than none.

旧皮要脱，得等到人心信了才动。
革是泽中有火：水火不相容，非变不可。占到革，是「变革」的卦，而且是很强的变革信号——旧的东西已经维持不住了。但革有一个硬条件：「己日乃孚」——要等到时机成熟、人心信服才能动手。早革没人信，晚革来不及。
