象曰：明出地上，晋；君子以自昭明德。

晋是火出地上：太阳升出地面，光照大地。占到晋，是明确的「上升」卦——晋升、曝光、被认可。卦辞写的是「昼日三接」：一天被接见三次，机会接连而来。做法是「自昭明德」：把自己的优点主动亮出来，不要藏着。但第四爻「晋如鼫鼠，贞厉」提醒：位置上来了之后，别变成贪而不敢的那种人。
