象曰：天地不交，否；君子以俭德辟难。

上下不通，这时候别硬说话。
否是天往上、地往下，越走越远。占到否，说明「沟通断掉了」——你的意思传不上去，上面的意思也下不来。卦辞说「否之匪人」，不适合跟君子讲道理。这时候的做法是「俭德辟难」：收缩、少说、不争，等结构变了再说。否的最后一爻是「倾否，先否后喜」——堵到极点自己会转。
