丰是雷电皆至：雷动电闪，气势最盛。占到丰，是「极盛」的卦——事情做到最大、最亮。但丰的警告非常重：「日中则昃」——太阳到了正中就要偏。爻辞里「日中见斗」「日中见沫」：正午的时候能看见星星，意思是盛极之时反而看不清。丰的做法是「宜日中」：趁最亮的时候把该办的办了。
