中间有东西卡着，得咬开。
噬嗑是雷电：雷动电闪，明察而果断。卦象是口中有物——嘴里塞着东西，必须咬开才能合上。占到噬嗑，说明当下有一个「明确的障碍」，而且这个障碍必须处理掉，事情才能顺。卦辞说「利用狱」，对应到现实就是：该用规则、该说清楚、该罚就罚。
