蹇是山上有水：水在山上，流得极难。占到蹇，是明确的「受阻」卦。卦辞非常实用：「利西南，不利东北」——往平坦的地方走，别往险处去；「利见大人」——找有力量的人帮。蹇的解法是「反身修德」：路走不通的时候，先改自己的做法，不是继续撞。
